Going beyond scientific boundaries.

Science is not the only avenue to discuss the observations made in the natural world. Indian art has been a major inspiration for me in terms of recording the natural world in stories, paintings and poetry. I am exploring my own approach for documenting and sharing my scientific or non-scientific observations with outreach activities involving bird watching workshops and oral performances of short stories based on wildlife of India. My outreach activities aim to create a venue that offers a curious mix of science, art and culture. To this end, I have organized various initiatives to bring artists, scientists and general public under the same roof to learn from each other and to reflect upon the knowledge gained from observing the natural world.
